Remembering Victoria “Tory” Denise Mason

Born on May 31, 1964, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky,
Victoria “Tory” Denise Mason was one of five children born to Eddie and Fredda Mason.
Tory was raised and lived the majority of her life in Washington State. In 1983 Tory married Martin Shoecraft, Sr and relocated to Washington, DC. While living in DC Tory gave birth to her only child, Martin Charles (Chuckie, as he was called growing up) Shoecraft, Jr. Eventually, they would relocate to San Diego, California where they would live for a number of years before she and Chuckie returned to the Pacific Northwest.
While in San Diego Tory became a licensed Stockbroker and held Series 6, 7, 9, and 11 licenses. Tory would further expand her knowledge base and became a licensed Insurance Broker and held a number of product line insurance licenses, as well. Once she returned to Washington State she operated her own company, “Mason Financial Services,” as well as a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt.
Tory absolutely loved reading and studying. She believed in God, the creator and was an avid student of the Tanakh, the complete Jewish Bible and Hebrew teachings. Prior to her life’s transition she attended Church of All Nations.
Tory was preceded in death by her dad, Eddie Mason on January 31st, 2016. Her transition on January 13th, 2020 leaves her son, Martin Shoecraft, Jr., her mother Fredda Mason, her sister Jacquie Mason-Bell, three brothers Eddie, DeVaughn and Shelby Mason, two nieces and four nephews, one great niece and three great nephews a number of Aunties, Uncles, first cousins and those of you who were her extended family, Connie Lambertson, Santiago Cortez and Annie Wilson.
Tory’s unexpected passing is and continues to be extremely difficult. As a family, we would like to say, “Thank You!” for all the phone calls, text messages, prayers and the financial contribution for her final arrangements. In remembrance of Tory’s life, our family ask, if you have any “past hurts or disagreements” please resolve and let them go; Let your family and those that are important to you know you love them and Don’t keep secrets about your health.

We will forever love “Tory” and truly love each of you!
