Syretta Roshona Lorrine Brown was born on February 26, 1986, in Tacoma, Washington, to Dennis and Debora Underwood, where she passed from reward to glory November 13, 2021.

Syretta attended Tyee Park Elementary, Lochburn Middle School, and later graduated from Clover Park AI, in Lakewood, Washington. While attending
Clover Park, she participated in the “Running Start” program and Dentistry. She later graduated from Costco College. Other programs she participated in
were JROTC, Track, Volleyball, and Kwanza club, to name a few. She was a member and later volunteered as a staff counselor for Lakewood Boys & Girls
Club.

Syretta was a member of the U.S. Army but decided to change her career. She worked for various companies: Advance of American, Home Depot, H & R
Block as a tax preparer, Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond, and her most recent place of employment was the Department of Licensing in Tacoma, Washington.
She was an outgoing, free spirit with a magnetic personality. A very determined and independent young lady. She always had encouraging words, love, and care
to give. Syretta did not sweat the small stuff. She was a protector of her family and friends, especially Ina Smith. They met in Seventh grade became best friends
like two peas in a pod. Her two sons were the love of her life. She would do anything for them and ensure they had what they needed. We will miss her chipmunk laugh, humorous personality, singing, dancing, and debating skills.

Syretta was preceded by her grandparents, Johnes Eddie and Frances Lorrine Brown, and Dorothy Jean Moore. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons,
Jonas Jesus Valenzuela Brown, Edward Thunder Jones Brown, father and mother, Dennis L. Underwood, Debora J Underwood, brother Dante C.L. Underwood all of Tacoma, Washington. A host of other relatives and friends.
