Jerry B Bryant was born in Putnam Hall, Florida on May 26, 1930 to Lawrence and Pearl Bryant. He departed this life on June 29, 2019 at 8 am. At an early age he joined Abline Baptist Church in Florida. Jerry loved the Lord. In 1946, Jerry came to Tacoma for a short time to live with his brother Luke.
He soon returned to Florida and remained there until early 1950. He left for New York City, where he lived until 1969. While in New York he met and married Doris Mitchell. To them was born one son Gerome Bryant and three daughters Cynthia Bryant, Debra Bryant, and Angela Bryant. He later had his last child a son Steven Williams. He dearly loved all of his children.
He is Survived by his children Cynthia, Debra, Angela and Steven. Eleven grandchildren, three great grand-children. One brother Lawrence (Alene) Bryant, 25 nephews and nieces. And a host of relatives.
Viewing services will be held July 11th 3-7pm at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services July 12th at 11am at 1601 South L Street Tacoma, WA 98405
To my family, I love you all dearly and wish you well during this time of beaurevement. I am going to miss my great Uncle Jerry. Praying for your strength to accept his passing and know he is resting and at peace.
