In Loving Memory of David Lawrence Brown M. Div.
May 20, 1964 – December 14, 2020

David was born on May 20th, 1964 to Bishop Leo Charles Brown, Jr and Anne (Benson) Brown in Tacoma, Washington. In 1987 he received a Baccalaureate of Arts Degree in Religion from Bishop College in Texas and then a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union University School of Theology in 1994. Elder David began his extensive ministerial career in the COGIC church in 1985 at Greater Harvest as a Junior Pastor working through many posts and since 2009 was the Associate Elder at True Vine Community. Elder Brown passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.

Services will be private but condolences and tributes may be sent to Scott Funeral Home at 1215 MLK Jr Way in Tacoma, WA 98405.

    My friend my brother will be truly missed. So many wonderful memories coming up in our parent church True Vine. The anointing was very strong on Elder David and when he spoke he captivated our hearts. God used him to make a difference in many lives. David your labor was not in vain, you finished the course, now is laid up for you a crown. Rest well my friend we love you!
