Dyan Rae Isaacson
After battling with Alzheimer’s Dementia for over a decade, Dyan Rae Isaacson passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16th.
Dyan was born on July 23, 1947 in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Clover Park High School in 1966. Daughter of Stella & Desmond Isaacson.
Desmond “Dez” Isaacson opened the iconic Tower Lanes in 1957 on 6th Ave in Tacoma where Dyan worked during high school and while attending Tacoma Community College to obtain her degree in education. She was employed by the Clover Park School District working with children of special needs. No other career would have suited her the way working with children did. They loved “Miss
Dyan” and learned so much from her. Dyan always went above and beyond to help the children and anyone else she could. She was always happy going out of her way to help or simply just to make someone smile. She left this earth peacefully with Christ in her heart. We will all miss her sense of compassion and humor.
Dyan is survived by her daughter Dezarae Ann Krenk-Isaacson and step-daughter Heidi Adams; sisters Phyllis Bogart and Landra Skelly; and brother Vern Isaacson.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice in her loving memory. The family has decided not to have a memorial service at this time due to COVID.
