Elroy L. Brooks was born January 29, 1953 to the Mrs. Victoria Ernestine Brooks and the late Mr. Oscar Brooks.  He was called to be with the Lord on December 3, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington.

Elroy graduated in 1972 from Stuarts Draft High School in Stuarts Draft, VA., married his sweetheart Sylvia Pannell Fitch Brooks in 1973 until her passing on December 6, 2017. God blessed Lennie and Sylvia with one son, Breece Pernell Brooks on August 25, 1973 until his passing on January 5, 2013.

He enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps after graduating from high school and was honorably discharged.  Lennie worked for General Electric in Waynesboro, VA and then enlisted into the US Army and was honorably discharged.

Lennie leaves to cherish his memory with Grandchildren, Bresaja Pashon Brooks, Sylincia Phire Brooks, and Abriella Jazara Grace Brooks; Dmitri and Taylor Ellis; Great granddaughter Sage Borrell; He leaves to cherish his memories with his mother, V. Ernestine Brooks; daughter in love (law), Nicole Brooks and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many family and friends.
