Heidi Marie Parker passed from this life to the next April 10, 2021 in Tacoma, WA. Heidi Marie Parker was born in Oakland, California to Mary (Howard) and Carl Shipman on Monday May 06, 1958. She transitioned from this earth into her saviors’ arms on April 10, 2021 in Tacoma, WA. Heidi was a artist. She majored in Theater in college and created theatrical productions for the local churches.

Heidi really loved to paint. She created top-of-the-line paintings. Others saw the beauty in her creation and she began to sell her work. What made her most happy was being around her grandkids. Her heart overflowed with joy anytime she was with them. Heidi was a super-duper caretaker and it gave her joy to constantly “mother” everyone. She never turned that off. Her children were always her babies even after they began to have their own families.
She loved her church, Word of Life Ministry. She created a church ministry network within the Tacoma Area from 35+ years service to the body of Christ. She was a servant, even till her last day. She was always looking to be a blessing to the body of Christ. She adopted so many people and treated them with so much love and respect to the point that they felt that we part of our family.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and brother Carl Shipman Jr. She is survived by Husband Dallas Parker Sr. Children Andre Ervin, Darian Ervin, Elisha Parker, and Dallas Parker III. Grandchildren: Caylonna Jewell Alexander, Michael Ervin, Kaliyah Ervin, Javon Ervin, Jaylon Freeman, Shalene Ervin, Jacori Ervin, Gelonni Ervin, Samaya Ervin, Kairi Braker, Julius Ervin, Nikki Braker, Ja’el Braker, Sunieva Ervin. Great-Grandchildren: Kahira Somerville-Alexander, Arionna Alexander, Joshua James Alexander, Conner Alexander. Nieces & Nephews: Camile Polee, Duan Shipman, Anthony Shipman, Selena Lee, Brandon Shipman, Roman Collins. Siblings: Janice Shipman, Carolyn Shipman, Michael Shipman, and Keith Shipman.

Funeral service Saturday April 24, 2021 at 10am First Baptist Church Lakewood 5400 112th St SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
