Lawrence Davis passed away July 2, 2023 at home. Services are pending.

OBITUARY:

Lawrence Davis, 75, passed away on July 2, 2023 unexpectedly. Even though he is no longer in this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all of those he loved and cared about.

Lawrence was born on December 03, 1947 in Shelby, Mississippi to Mildred Virginia Coleman and Hosey Davis.

He is survived by his former wife Rosa Flenorl and their daughter Cicely Davis. As well as lifelong partner Iva Cherry.

He was also a beloved grandfather to Taylor Atwater, Jordan Williams, Turquoise Abdul Majeed, Deltra Kidd, Thomas Timmons, Alexis Brown, and Isreal Sanders.

Great grandfather to Dominique Watson and Couture Oconner.

He is also survived by his siblings Annette McClain, Suzanne Stevenson, Rory Tate, Michael Coleman, Donald Coleman, Charles Coleman. And by many Nieces and nephews.

Lawrence graduated from Broad Street High School and attended college at Lafayette Community College and  retired around 1985 from Washington State Disability Services.

Lawrence loved fishing and watching old western movies on his free time. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will truly be missed and has made a huge impact on all of the lives he has touched.
