Arabella says:
She was my 5th grade teacher. She gave me the most fun year I’d ever experienced. When I found out she passed, it crushed me deeply. Rest in peace darling. Fly high Nnenna Imo. ♥️
Victor says:
This is devastating news for me. This woman and her husband gave their shoulders to cry on when I was going through “hell,” having recently arrived at / to the USA from Nigeria. They gave me food to eat and water to drink. They offered me their home for whatever I needed freely. I could never repay them, but God will. I pray for God to grant Chief the fortitude to bear this loss. May her gentle soul RIP. Amen!
Donna Green says:
I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Mrs. Imo. She was a truly special person—kind, warm, and full of life. I had the honor of working with her during her final week at Fawcett, when I volunteered to teach her class so she could prepare for retirement. True to her gracious nature, she took the time to write me a heartfelt thank-you note and even included a gift. That gesture spoke volumes about the kind of person she was.
Mrs. Imo also taught my stepdaughter at Stewart Middle School, and she made a lasting impact there too. She loved her students deeply and treated each one with care and encouragement. Her love for her husband was always evident—she spoke of him often and with such admiration.
She was a light in the lives of so many, and her absence will be deeply felt. My heart goes out to her family, friends, students, and all who had the joy of knowing her.
