Patricia Ann Jones was born on August 23, 1943 in Durham, NC and passed away on April 23, 2020 in Tacoma, WA.
Patricia Jones.. who at times was called Pat or PJ is dearly loved by those who were around her. Her sweet, kind, gentle and loving spirit will be missed by all of us, and especially the motherly love she had for her children. She is survived by 2 sons and one daughter: Lawrence Jr, Leonard and, Lafrances. Patricia also had 1 grandsons, 6 granddaughter, and 6 Great grandchildren.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents Edward Jones and Gertie Joyner of North Carolina in addition to other siblings.
Patrica had faithful friends over the years and was especially blessed to have Inez Bruce and her family, who were able to be near unto the end (Ps 27:10).
Patricia was was a member of the East Side Baptist Church in Tacoma WA, which will be helping honor her. Truly, our mother will be missed, but we are glad she is now at peace.
There will be a small ceremony at Scott Funeral Home in Tacoma on Tuesday 4/28/20 at 4pm but it is limited to 10 people at a time due to Social Distancing rules.
Patricia’s remains will be laid to rest at New Tacoma Cemeteries 9221 Chambers Creek Rd W, University Place, WA 98467: Grave# 476 and ready for visitation on 4/29/20.
