Richard was hilarious and serious. He was such a tough guy and at the same time a total softie – remember when he would joke about BBQing the dog, but then we caught him laying on the floor trying to play with Dewey? His love shined through that macho man persona without any doubt for his girls (and Wren!). I’m incredibly sorry for your loss, he is absolutely irreplaceable. He loved you all so dang much, and will continue to do so – he is a part of you. ❤️ Love, Gertrude.
