Soledad Catungal Lacambacal

August 29, 1935-June 27, 2022

Mrs. Soledad Lacambacal has passed into the arms of her savior. She was the eldest among 10 siblings. Soledad grew up and was educated in the Philippines. She was both a college professor and Agrarian Court Reporter. She married Alfredo Lacambacal who was an established businessman and farmer. Together they had six children Oscar, Rudy, Johnny, Armando, Henry, Vilma.

She was kind and caring. As the eldest in the family, she played the role of a 2nd mother to her 9 siblings (3 sisters and 6 brothers) who had never lost their love and respect in her.

She was a beauty queen, a graceful dancer and had always been the star of the night as a dance champion during her time.

As a wife and a mother of 6, she had given her very best to her husband, children and grandchildren at all times. As a devout Christian who believed in God, she was loving, honest, kind, patient, fair, trustworthy, compassionate and generous to everyone.

When the opportunity to migrate in America known as the land of opportunity came, she had mixed emotions to leave behind 5 of her children with Rudy already living in Germany.  She always talked about her love to her family and not wanting to leave her grandchildren as well.  Nonetheless she and her husband made it to USA, assimilated very well into the American mainstream and the rest is history!

Atsi/Ate/Mamang/Ka Soledad, as everyone called her, “we love you and you will forever be missed”♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏
