Janey’s candle was lit on November 24, 1963 in Tacoma, Washington to Larry and O’Dean Keal. She was called back home on December 9, 2023 At the age of 60. Janey attended Mt Tahoma High School where she graduated in 1982 to go on to Community College at TCC. Soon after she went on to meet the love of her life Teddy Atterbury, whom she married on September 19, 1987 in Columbia South Carolina. She then went on to have two beautiful children, Teddy the second, and Totiana Atterbury. She soon settled into a nearly 15 year career at Puget Sound Energy where she built strong and lasting relationships, loved by many coworkers who became close friends. Janey was a lively personality loved by everyone she knew, even the strangers that she would spark up a conversation with at the grocery store. Known as the life of the party and a lover of life she will be missed for her incredible candor, infectious laugh, and passionate viewpoints. A warrior for her family and those close to her, Janey was the strong backbone and an encouraging presence in the lives of those around her, she loved her family fiercely and was a strong willed and confident caregiver. To know her, was to love her – she enjoyed most the simple pleasures in life. She will be greatly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her mother, O’Dean Keal and survived by her husband, her children and grandchildren and along with her father, siblings, many near and dear family and friends.
