Shelton Keys, Jr. III was born in Seattle, Washington on January 2, 1967, to the union of Shelton Keys, Jr and Lila Keys. He was transitioned back to the LORD on December 8, 2021.
Shelton was a man who had an insurmountable love for God and his family. Shelton was an entrepreneur who had a dream and from his dream he created a successful landscaping business and later he would obtain his own construction business.
Shelton was a giver and had a heart for people from all walks of life. He helped the people of his community and surrounding areas to gain employment and was in the process of opening a trade school for anyone who wanted to get training for a trade in various fields. Shelton also opened housing for the homeless and would feed the homeless also going to the homeless camps to feed the people.
Shelton is preceded in death by his Father’s Shelton Keys, Jr and Robert Lee Catching, and his grandmother’s Leila Mae Herring and Marie Keys.
Shelton leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sheena Kaaihue, his Mother Lila Catching, brother Alvin Keys (Trina), sister’s Leasa Keys, Lucille Smith, Donis Bassnight, Eyvonne Keys (Kassim), Kisha Catching, Valencia Wright (Eddie) and Shumbae Burns (Anthony).
Children Lamar Coleman, Kwadraline Grace, Celena Keys, Spiritwind Oneroad, Ashley Keys, Lino Kuiee-Wallace, Angel Keys and Shelton Keys, Jr. IV and his grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
His services will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at Edwards Temple COGIC 1107 S 21st St, Tacoma, WA, 98405. Viewing at 10am. Funeral at 11am.
