  1. Elaine Smalls says:

My condolences to the family, and the community of Odessa Antonette Gore Easterlin, it is with sheer sadness, and such an unpardonable act, that Odessa was slain down in the street, Odessa’s innocence, her young life taken at the hands of known risk, and unmonitored, the ever-growing mentally challenged, along with the populace of homeless residents, that so purposely, strives every corner, of the South Sound, inner-city communities, and yes, Odessa’s unpopular lifestyle, did intertwine with the city of Tacoma, ever-growing populations of mentally challenged, and homelessness, but by no means, should Odessa life have ended, at the hands of her unknown vicious attacker, and yet, he was no stranger to the city of Tacoma, he was well known for his past transgressions, and by his very own call for help, the city not only failed Odessa her life, it also failed her attacker, who should have been “flagged red” and possibly placed in a secured setting, until fully at remission of his own mental health concerns. Tacoma, let’s do better and not end Odessa Antonette Gore Easterlin’s life on 9th & Market, the city of Tacoma must come together and step up to help the city mentally challenged and help conquer the corners of homelessness

  2. Elaine Smalls says:

My condolence to Odessa Antonette Gore Easterlin’s family, and community, may Odessa rest in a land overflowing with milk & honey, rest baby-girl rest.

  3. Micah says:

I still think about you… and I wish that we hadnt been divided by colorism/featurism– YOUR HUG gave me closure I didnt know I needed.

We had so much more in common than we knew.

Odessa you deserved to live.. you deserved protection, you deserved peace and the comfort of having a home to rest your head and the support of people around you.

And in death you deserved justice.

    Your life matters
