Ollice Damone Standley
Ollice Damone Standley was born in Los Angeles, California on August 17, 1971. Then a bright and shining light pierced the darkness for Frances Marie Holbert and Thomas Grant. They called the Light, Ollice Damone Standley. Damone graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA. He worked in the Food Service industry most of his adult life. The last year of his life he volunteered at the Beacon Activity Center serving lunch to seniors. Damone enjoyed playing dominoes while listening to Rap music. Snoop Dogg, Tupac, and Ice Cube were some of his favorite artists. The “Light” went out on September 28, 2018. Damone leaves the following to navigate the darkness: Step-Father Charles W. Armstrong (Judy), Sisters: Stephanie Prudhomme (Gary), Leah R. Stanley, Nakiia Profit (Charles), Collete Y. Standley, Katherine Jenkins (Keith), Angela Mitchell, and Shuntay Montgomery; and brother ~ Willie J. Standley, Jr. (Aleic). Damone was a loving and supportive Uncle to Quincy A. Wright, William-Michael Bey-Standley, Willie J. Standley III, Jewel N. Standley, Brandon D. O. Powell, Robert L. McPhearson II, Anthony R. Hampton II, ReaJame’ S. Bennett, and JaLea E. Bennett, and a host of cousins and friends. Damone was a ray of light, a helping hand, he never met an enemy and everyone was his “Friend”. Damone was preceded in death by his mother and his sister Deandra R. Standley.
