Obituary
Rodney Vaughn Spencer, affectionately known to his family as Pookas, to friends as Chubbs and will forever be his Momma’s Boy, passed away on August 2, 2021.

Tacoma born and bred, Rodney had a smile that would lighten a room and his “fresher than you” personality was second to none! Loving, loyal, caring and always kind, Rodney was the epitome of selflessness and always put his family first. He was the guy who always showed up no matter what and he always made sure that his family wanted for nothing. Rodney was a lover of sports, but like any guy who couldn’t stand to get his sneakers dirty, he preferred to watch rather than participate!

Rodney lived life to the fullest with integrity, grit and perseverance despite the challenges that were presented to him.

Rodney has been reunited with the love of his life, Nora Lee Walker, and there is no doubt that they’re shining down on our family. He carried out his life with unwavering strength, devotion and commitment to his family and friends.

He is survived by Father Rodney Spencer Sr., Mother Brenda Wraggs, two sisters Brittany Spencer (Aria and Andrew Jr.) and Chelsea Keyes- Greer (Bobby Greer), one brother Christopher Keyes-Walker, Stepfathers Gregory Wraggs and Christopher Keyes Sr., and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was looking forward to becoming a parent for the first time and welcoming baby Sa’Nai with Nicole Murphy.
