Dora Lynn Brown age 62 of Port Orchard Washington passed away at 4:41 am Friday October 27th, 2023 at Tacoma General Hospital.

Dora was born April 24th, 1961 to the late Herbert and Alice (Hagadone) Brown.

In 1983 she met Roger Allen Harrison and he survives. They shared 16 great years together and had 3 beautiful children. 

Dora was Born in Wolf Point Montana. She spent the first five years of her life on a farm south of Poplar Montana. The family in 1966 then moved to Libby Montana where she called home. 

Dora was diagnosed with skin cancer in 1997. She fought hard and won her battle to raise her children. Dora was diagnosed with bladder cancer and kidney failure in October 2022. She decided to fight again. However she had multiple other health conditions and chemo took its toll on her. On Friday October 20th she was admitted for pneumonia, and other health concerns, she lost the battle.

Dora was a retired caregiver who worked in facilities in Washington and Montana. She loved to help any and all who needed it. Dora also attended beauty school where she won 1st place in a braiding competition. She enjoyed playing pinochle, fishing, camping, being near the ocean, sewing, crocheting, traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with family. Dora was the youngest of ten kids.

In addition to Roger, Dora is survived by two daughters and a son, Raychell Christensen and husband Brad of Kalispell Montana; son, Douglas Brown and wife Jaleighsa of Billings Montana; daughter Dawnette Becker and husband Clayton of Kalispell Montana. Two grandchildren, Daven Christensen and fiancee Jessica of Kalispell Montana and Stetson Brown of Billings Montana; sister, Mary Bloom of Sidney Montana; sister, Alice Smith of Apache Junction Arizona; sister, Lorraine Hatten of Port Orchard Washington; sister, Donna Brown of Yelm Washington; sister, Myrtle Hatten of Kalispell Montana; sister, Shirley Hatten of Grenora North Dakota; sister, Betty VanAlstine and husband Michael of Elma Washington; brother, Herbert Brown Jr of Troy Montana, and several nieces and nephews.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents and brother Forest Brown.

Funeral and Memorial services are to be determined.
