A note from his family:
It is with thanksgiving and humble acceptance of Gods will December 22, 2020 at 11:49pm at St. Joseph Hospital my brother Michael Clark lost his battle with an aggressive form of Leukemia and complications from a major stroke. A lifelong native of Tacoma Washington, he was known to be a kind, hardworking member of the community. In addition to being one of three owners of Bob’s Bar BQ pit, he also worked as a Janitorial Supervisor at the Evergreen State College. During his personal time, he enjoyed motorcycle riding, gardening, and spending time with his family. He attended church services at Allen AME. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Littles; his son, Chad Lockhart; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. This has been a very challenging time for our family, but we are focusing on the many memories, his joy, and all the love we have shared. We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
Mike, we love you and will see you again.

Thank you for always being a ear and a solid ground to stand on growing up.

Michael,
I will miss your positivity, your sense of humor and the vegetables from your garden.
Micheal, I’m sad that you are not with me at this time, but I have precious memories of when you were here, you made each day special, the way it was meant to be and filled them with your love, kindness and generosity, you were the dearest man I know, I was blessed. I pray the angels bring you sweet eternal rest loving you always and forever.

Thank you Michael for seeing a need and without disrupting the surface, quietly provided me with that need. You have been since that day, a mentor, a friend and a younger brother to me. You brought brightness into a dreary day filled with darkness with just a small laugh that could brighten the darkest of rooms. You feed the hungry without asking if they needed it or not. You were our gentle giant that did not fear to ask the important questions that would get us solutions to our current situations. I am eternally grateful that God brought you into my life and although you are physically away from earth, you will always be in my heart. I would like to thank your family for sharing such an amazing man with us. Nora Price, TCC
Former coworkers of Michael are shocked and saddened by this news. Do you have more information on the streaming platform? Is this something I can share with my members at Green River College? Many of them are having a hard time with this news.
Heartfelt condolences,

Hello I am waiting for the streaming info for the family. This was something they set up separately
.
In the past couple of years I have had a stroke, a cousin and a close friends have had strokes, and I was shocked to learn that Mike had a bad stroke and then the doctors found the agressive leukemia that took his life so suddenly. Mike’s whole family and community were shocked when we learned that Mike had gone to Heaven. It was neat watching Mike grow up and then we have had many discussions, but even though we are family Mike still would not give me the secret receipe for the Bar-b-q sauce….we always kidded about that. But more so, I want to tell the family and friends that I pray that God will comfort you and give you the peace that only He can….Amen Goodbye Nephew, you were loved.
Mike and I spent a good amount of time working on safety training.
He wanted his staff to get as many safety training ideas as I could offer. He will always be A+ to me.
Bless you Mike and condolences to your family.
I just don’t know what to say other than a simple “Thank you Michael!”, I’m at a loss for words, my condolences to his mother, brother and son as well as the extended family. May he rest in peace and power.
I met Michael when he became employed at Greenriver and he was such a caring and dedicated person. I have always enjoyed the conversations that we have had regarding his Mom. He was a man that “Loved” his Mother and was so proud of her. He really inspired me with his kindness and loyalty toward her and other family members and friends. Rest in Peace, My Friend. We will meet again. Condolences and blessings to your family!
