Obituary of Patricia Ann Doss

Patricia Ann Doss, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2020. Patricia was born in Lamber, Mississippi on February 12, 1969 to Annie Pearl (Doss) Frazier and was raised and reared in a loving and strict home with her siblings.

Patricia attended Tacoma Public Schools and graduated from Stadium High School in 1987. She was an avid learner and a skillful and star basketball player, and played at the high school and collegiate level. Patricia attended Tacoma Community College and majored in Early Childhood Education. Patricia loved working with children, and always found herself surrounded by and caring for them, and the little ones loved and adored her. .

Patricia accepted the Lord as her Savior and attended Shiloh Baptist Church and Deliverance House of Prayer. Patricia faithfully gave of her time, talent and resource, however she could and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Patricia met and made many friends. She loved and adored her family and was blessed to be a mother and a grandmother.

Patricia was preceded in death by her grandmother Randy B. Doss, her step-father Sam Frazier, her brother Tyrone Doss, and her nephew Robert Doss II.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Marquise Doss (Michelle); her granddaughter Malaya Doss; her mother Annie Frazier; Brothers Charles Doss, Willie Doss (Bridget), Robert Doss, Matt Doss and Michael Doss (Kathy); Sisters Minnie Jackson (Russell), Carol Jackson, Paula Powell (David); and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, uncles, aunts, relatives and good friends.

Patricia’s memory and legacy will continue to live on in the lives she’s loved and those who loved her.
