Stephanie Hardy-Stevens

Stephanie Moneache Hardy- Stevens passed away in the early morning on May 1, 2022.

Stephanie Moneache Hardy- Stevens was born on December 23, 1979, in Bremerton, Washington, to the union of Thomas & Hilda Hardy.

Stephanie graduated from Bremerton High School in 1997, where she was an active member of the Black Student union and the step team. While attending Bremerton High, her favorite classes were Early Childhood education, and ROTC. Her love for educating young children led her to start a career in teaching. In 2005 she began working at The Embassy Educational Center, where she taught Pre-kindergarten until 2017. After her tenure at EEC, she started working at Emmanuel Lutheran Childcare Center as the morning lead teacher up until the time of her passing. Stephanie is loved not only by her colleagues but also by the children she taught and their parents.

Stephanie was a devoted mother of two children. One son Danavien Colquitt, and One daughter Adaiah   Stevens both of whom reside in Bremerton, Washington. If you know Stephanie, you know her children were her pride and joy. If she were not at work, you could find her at Danavien’s football games, at his track meets cheering him on from the stands, at Adaiah’s ballet lessons, or at her weekly girl scout troop meeting with snacks for all the kids in hand.

Stephanie enjoyed crafting and being creative with her cricket machine. She was always ready and willing to be helpful to others in any way that she could. Stephanie lived for events, from baby showers to birthday parties. Just tell her what you need for your event, and she takes care of it. Everything from showing up early to hang decorations to making sure your make-up was right. She was a caring and loving Mother, Wife, Daughter, Auntie, Sister, and Friend.

She was preceded in death by her (Grandfather) James Pharr Sr.; (Grandmother) Eliza Pharr; (Aunt) Margarette Pharr-Bosley; (Aunt) Mary Pharr-Taylor; (Aunt) Patricia Frances;(Uncle) Calvin Pharr (Uncle) James Pharr Jr. (Father) Thomas D. Hardy (Sister) Katrina Hardy.

Stephanie leaves behind to cherish her memories, her (Husband) Rousshan Stevens, ( Son) Danavein Colquitt, (Daughter) Adaiah Stevens,(Mom) Hilda Renter (Step Father) Andrew Renter (Sister)  Glinda Barefield(Brother)  Andy Alfred (Brother)  Thomas Hardy  (Lyndsey),(Sister)Tanika Blair(Sister) Noreen Sweeting (Corey),(Sister) Amber Houston (Kevin),(Brother) Phillip Houston  (Ashley) and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, God Children & Friends.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the opportunity to meet her.
