Arnette Twine, affectionately known as “Nettie” by family and friends was  born August 5th 1956, and called home on July 24th at 1:08 pm. Nettie’s husband, Tim Twine met and married while they were students at Chico State University. From that union, they brought four sons into the world, Thabiti, Tobiah, Titus and Talibay. From this offspring,  there are three daughters in laws, Melissa, Kristen, and Justus. Nettie and Tim are also the proud benefactors of four grandchildren including Makenna, Trey, Gabriel, Caleb and one grandson, currently on the way. Nettie was loved by most everyone she met. She had a quiet and disarming charm but yet a go- getter driving spirit. Most people that meet Nettie usually leave feeling warm and safe.

With the passing of Nettie, she also leaves behind a multitude of beloved family, including the patriarch, her father in law Al Twine. She is preceded in death by her parents Len and Dorthy Deloney, three brothers, Len Deloney in Texas, Floyd Deloney in Washington, DC, Jerry Deloney in Arkansas, and one sister, LaDoris McMullen from Florida. Not to mention a host of nieces and nephews.

Although Nettie will be truly missed in the flesh, her warm and quirky spirit will always remain in our hearts and minds. As a close family member, Nettie however was also my baby sister as well!
