Rudy Vyree Adams, the 1st of his name, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021. An avid lover of music and history, Rudy was born on July 14th 1948 in Belle Glade, Palm Beach County Florida. Some of the most cherished times in his life here on earth were serving honorably in the United States Army, being a radio personality, a loving father to his children, and life partner and best friend to his surviving wife, Patricia Adams.

Rudy is survived by his siblings: Megan Adams, Darron Adams “Flat top” and his 7 children (in order by birth) Adrian Adams, Derrick Adams, Angela Adams, Rudy Vyree Adams the 2nd, Tanzania K. Adams, Otha A. Adams, and Kenya L. Adams. Also survived by two brother in laws, Steve Shellman and Alex Sims, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A “Celebration of Life” walkthrough with his immediate family will take place on Tuesday, February 9th at the Scott’s Funeral Home, between the hours of 1pm and 3pm. This will be a time for all who would like to show their last respects, comfort the family, and sign the signature book for acknowledgement.
