Theo Marie Turner-Murphy was born in Bremerton, Washington on July 31, 1949 to her late parents Samuel J. Turner, Sr. and Laure Bell Haynes-Turner. Theo attended East High School during her senior year, where she met and married the love of her life George Robert Murphy of the United State Navy. After traveling the country she relocated to Seattle, Washington. Theo accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church under the direction of Pastor Cecil Dotson where she served on the Mother Board and the Usher Board. Theo loved her church family and was a faithful member until her health prevented her from attending regularly. Theo worked in the health industry for over 20 years while also taking in foster children as she raised her own children. Theo’s door was always open and
she would always extending her hand to help others. After raising her 4 children she adopted and raised her nieces and nephews Tiffany, Patrick (Ray), Mona and Shawn Turner. Theo departed this life to be with the Lord peacefully at home surrounded by all her loved ones on Saturday July 25, 2020 at 3:28pm. Theo was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to be with her family and friends enjoying life. Her departure has left a huge void in all of her loved ones lives and she will be greatly missed.
