His Story

Dominic Damikkis Boone was born October 23, 2001 at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. Being born 11 weeks early at only 2lbs. Dominic had a great healthcare team at NIC U.  Dominic, and his twin brother were able to come home for their First Christmas. They were able to finally meet face to face for the first time.

Dominic attended several Elementary and Middle schools throughout his childhood. He even attended school in Phenix City, Alabama. For High School Dominic attended Mount      Tahoma in Tacoma, Washington. He loved to learn about new things. Doninic was in ROTC. He took French. Was in a band. On a Step Team and played Football.

Dominic enjoyed his time at AWANA and the Boys & Girls club. Dominic was Baptized as a child at Shiloh Baptist church. He was also Baptized again as a teen at Greater Christ Temple.

Dominic got his first job at 16 years old working at     Popeyes. He worked at several fast-food places as well as   warehouses. He was able to buy himself his first car that he was very proud of.

Dominic wanted to join the military and then start his own business when he got older. He loved watching           competition baking shows with hopes of also becoming a baker one day.

Dominic had so much personality with his jokes and good sense of humor. He loved his music, dancing, anything to do with views with water, his flip flops, drawing, skating and playing the game with his family and friends. Dominic loved to be Fresh as he would call it. Dressed Head to toe even though half the time he would not even have a shirt on.

Dominic loved to talk about his zodiac sign. He would say “You know what the best sign is.” Dominic was a Scorpio. Dominic’s way of showing love was being goofy and making people laugh. However, what Dominic loved the most was his family. Dominic used to say “I know I didn’t get this tattoo for no reason. If you got to know him, you would love him. He was very forgiving, sometimes too forgiving. He was a loving soul. Dominic’s Motto was “Family over Everything” … And he meant just that!

Dominic was the LIGHT !

Dominic leaves to Celebrate his Memories, His mother Tamika Boone, Father Emmitt Steele. Siblings Emmit Jr Steele, Omari Steele, Terrell Steele, Porsha Bland-Steele,     Ercell Steele, Terrell Steele, Ahnjahnae Steele and Daunte Boone. Grandparents Ola Mae Johnson, Harriet Steele, Emanual Dorsey and Cynthia Evans. Nieces, Nephews as well as Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Extended Family.
